부위
발목 앞쪽면, 발목관절 앞면 중앙부위로서, 긴엄지폄근힘줄(extensor halluces longus tendon)과 긴발가락폄근힘줄(extensor digitorum longus tendon) 사이 오목한 곳에 위치함.

취혈
발목을 발등 쪽으로 굽혔을 때 발등에서 더욱 도드라지는 긴엄지폄근힘줄과 긴발가락폄근힘줄 사이 오목한 곳에서 취혈하는데, 가쪽복사 융기(prominence of the lateral malleolus)와 안쪽복사 융기(prominence of the medial malleolus)를 연결하는 선의 중점에 해당됨.
Note: ST41 is located between two tendons on the dorsum of the foot which are more distinct when the ankle is in dorsiflexion, and is at the midpoint of the line connecting the prominences of the lateral malleolus and the medial malleolus.
