목 앞부위, 앞정중선(anterior median line) 위, 방패연골(thyroid cartilage) 위모서리 위쪽, 목뿔뼈(hyoid bone) 위쪽의 오목한 곳.

취혈
머리를 약간 뒤로 젖히면, 방패연골(thyroid cartilage)과 아래턱뼈(mandible) 사이에서 목뿔뼈결절(hyoid tubercle)이 촉지되는데, 목뿔뼈 위쪽의 오목한 곳에서 취혈한다.

- 直刺 0.2～0.3寸
- 斜刺 0.5～1寸 (약간 上方으로 舌根部를 향해 刺入)
